Nesta is a global innovation foundation. We back new ideas to tackle the big challenges of our time. From mapping the organisations and projects across Europe using technology to tackle social challenges to carrying out research into the barriers facing the growth of DSI in Europe, Nesta has been involved in the field of digital social innovation (DSI) since 2014. Through our work, we have held numerous events across Europe, influenced policy and developed high-quality learning resources and content. We are now considered as one of the authorities on the topic in Europe.
The main activities undertaken by the project will include facilitating new connections, creating a series of peer learning events and other activities to support DSI in specific social areas, futures research and work to influence DSI policy.
